Me: “I’m tired tonight, so I think I’ll make a salad with smoked salmon for supper.”

My Wife: “I’d rather have an omelet with feta cheese, green onions, and tomatoes, and when you make it, don’t make it so salty!”

Me: “Oh,” and as I look at her in mock-disbelief, she cracks up, just like the eggs I’ll soon render into our omelet bowl.
