Please cite the instances in school curricula where teachers assign works that show the extreme images you mentioned. Moms for Liberty is for anything but liberty, and you've set up some false analogies here. I do think groups from either end of the political spectrum go too far. I'm teaching To Kill a Mockingbird now, and for some, that work is triggering, but i think it's important to teach because it raises issues that were present in the 1930s, 60s and today. Words are weaponized, I believe, and we wouldnb't need protections if white people, in this instance, still didn't think of Black people as lesser beings. But thank you for engaging.
