Part of me gets this, but the other part wonders, doubts, and even believes that letting the past go isn't a wise move. I believe that sincere people who own their past mistakes can and should be forgiven. Still, whatever the reason, saying things like Clapton did actually happened and they came from a real place in his mind. That he's so wooden about the vaccine makes me wince, also. So, I'll still love the music of his that I love, and I'll still recognize that as most of us are, he's a pretty complex person. I'll forgive, but won't be letting go.
