In 55th grade, we were forced to recite Walt Whitman's "I Hear America Singing," and that event alone almost made me refuse ever again to read Whitman. Glad I gave him another chance a couple of decades later, because "Out of the Cradle, Endlessly Rocking" absolutely rocks on. Now, as to this song. You're gonna want to examine my head, but I actually prefer it to "Born to Run." I can't even explain, but the power of the potential the lovers have is maybe the tipping point for me.
