I remember when it was released, Neil Young junkie that I am. "Walk On" was supposedly a response to Skynyrd who was responding to "Southern Man" and "Alabama," and yeah, how fun. But the entirety of side two is one of my favorite sides of any album. The melancholy, the depth of questioning was is real or "meaningless." LOVE IT! So anti-Nixon, too.
