I love the way you structure the essay, like a pendulum that keeps swinging over seventh grade, to the past, to the future, and then finally coming to rest on Lizzie’s mom, and then taking us a bit further, because the center of the piece can never be a constant. It has to grow, move to the end. Beautiful, Emma.
