I get that change is frightening and many people see their world shifting in ways they can't comprehend. though I wonder if they've actually tried to comprehend such change, because what i see too often is an unwillingness to think, to reason, to consider, and to FEEL what others who are deeply unhappy are going through. How many of the stage debaters and Kelly herself actually know a Trans person or someone who is deeply unhappy with the gender they were assigned at birth? I've tried to take the time to understand republicans and I'm tired of being the one who tries. Especially given the pain I know those who want to be their best selves are experiencing and the real fear they have of being forced to live as someone else dictates.
