I do take some of your points and yes, the US has been a force for good sometimes. I did not get into our imperial drives against Central American countries, Iran, and many others so it isn’t just race where we haven’t been great. And I do think it’s fair to focus on and begin and end with race since in my view this is the MAGA dream, a country where white people rule with impunity.
