I became a Tyler Childers fan by seeing him live, which could be luck. My country radio listening is confined to outlaw Country and Willie's Road House, and while some hits come along, getting into the middle songs of albums always makes me stand up and want to buy. I like Pop songs, but trying to be Pop just to sell takes a singer down a worn and tired path. Money, sure, but after a while, they all sound the same.
