I am not ashamed to admit that I liked all of these songs to varying degrees. Whiel I would go with JP Timko's choice of Bridge Over Troubled Water, I really love Close to You. It's weird to like Barry Manilow, or at least some Barry Manilow. Mandy seemed pretty romantic to me when it came out--I was maybe 17, but it was everything going on around me that made me like the song--you know, that angsty period when it seemed i'd never find a girl. Sigh. Loved this trip Mark!
