I’m from Bessemer, Alabama, and haven’t eaten at this Saw’s, but I have dined at Saw’s Soul Kitchen near Eastwood Mall — worth a try when you return to the area. You could try Bob Sykes in Bessemer, too, but go for the chopped pork there. If you’re feeling truly sporty, head down to Tuscaloosa and eat at Archibald’s — actually in neighboring Northport.
