As a formerly closeted Neil Diamond fan, I am so happy to read this even though I never owned this album, or saw the film, or read the book. All the things you say about snobbery are true of me in regards to this record. So, it's not that i will buy it, but I am going over my Diamond reflections and remembering the one time I saw him in concert, which I will write more of in a piece later. I think I can sing to "Shiloh," but that's all I'm admitting to! Thanks Gary!!!
